LCES Legal English Online Courses
The LCES Legal English Online Course is the jewel of the crown of the courses we offer. Highly demanded and praised by both professionals and students connected in any way with the legal professions, it is divided into three different levels in order to make it more accessible to any student regardless of their initial command of the language. The teachers
The LCES LEOC instructors are qualified English teachers, but also qualified lawyers / legal translators and bilingual in English and Spanish with years of teaching experience. The language of Law, being so specifically complex, demands a good command of the concepts in both languages in order to be thoroughly taught. Our instructors do meet all the requirements.
The students
The LCES LEOC's are specifically thought for any professionals or students who will need a good command of the language of the Law: lawyers, Law students, company staff, managerial, Students of English with a special interest in this field, ... Even though this is not a course on translation, legal translator may take good advantage from our classes. It is true that following our courses will imply a lot of personal work on the part of the student, which, with the accurate guidance from our tutors, will make you more of an independent learner, thus getting you further and faster to your own goals as a student.
The levels
Intermediate
B1
For learners whose level of English is Intermediate or have not studied the language for some time, this is probably your best option. You will improve your general English command while learning the specific language of the Law.
B2 - Upper intermediate
If you already have a good command of the language and only need to refresh some vocabulary and structures while learning the language of Law, this will be the course that suits you better.
Specially designed for students with a very good knowledge of the language in general whose only need is to learn the specificities of the language of Law. A very demanding course that will make you an expert in Legal English, which will hold no secrets from you.
Advanced
C1
The exams / certificates
All the students who attend a minimum of 80% of each course will be awarded a Certificate of Assistance from LCES.
Official external exams (TOLES) can be taken for each of the three levels after a few weeks' specific preparation period. These certificates are highly valued by companies and institutions all over the world. A valuable asset in your personal CV.
The method
These are all fully online courses, so you can take them at your own pace from anywhere. You will be sent a minimum of a weekly assignment which you can work on and about which you can ask any questions to your tutors by email. Additionally there will be a minimum of two online live sessions per week (depending on your choice) to practice your speaking either individually or within a group class. Your work will be assesssed and corrected on a daily basis and you will have full online assistance 24/7 during the course.

English for the EU - High B1-B2
Within the European Union, English is the working language. Even if Brexit sends the UK out of the EU, the language will still be a major asset since most of the negotiations will always be held in the current international language: English.
This course will help all the professionals and students of any field to handle the majority language of the EU naturally and thus manage comfortably in the European world.
